2023 Pennsauken Fall Festival

2023 Pennsauken Fall Festival

Pennsauken Township will host its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 4 (rain date Sunday, Nov. 5). This annual FREE event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave., brings the Township community together in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Free for the public to attend, Pennsauken’s annual Fall Festival features a variety of entertainment. Children will be able to enjoy amusement rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, balloon twisting, face painting, and more. Families can take a short hayride to a “pumpkin patch,” where kids can pick out a small pumpkin to decorate (one per child). Throughout the event, attendees will also be able to purchase snacks and meals from a variety of food trucks.

In addition, the festival’s popular “Vendor Row” will once again be set up along the complex’s parking lot, with a variety of crafters, businesses, and community organizations sharing their goods and services with participants.

Crafters, businesses, and community groups are invited to join the Fall Festival as vendors. The ONLY WAY to register as a vendor for the Fall Festival is through Pennsauken’s Parks and Recreation Department. For details, visit PennsaukenEvents.com or email jvazquez@pennsauken.gov.

2023 Haunted Hayride

2023 Haunted Hayride

2023 Pennsauken Haunted Hayride On October 25

Now featuring a longer route!

Pennsauken Township’s annual Haunted Hayride will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd.

Sponsored by the Pennsauken Country Club and the Township’s Parks and Recreation Department, the Haunted Hayride features ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and the walking dead providing scary fun for the whole family, as guests ride around in a hay wagon pulled by a tractor. It’s a great bargain, as the cost for the Haunted Hayride is just $2.00 per person.

In addition, Pennsauken’s first responders will be handing out Halloween candy to participants.

Please note that line for the Haunted Hayride closes prior to 9:30 p.m. Based on past attendance, participants are asked to arrive no later than 8:30 p.m. The rain date for the Haunted Hayride is Thursday, Oct. 26, at the same location and time.

Volunteers are once again needed for this year’s Haunted Hayride. Generous students and residents are asked to dress up as zombies and monsters to help provide some scary fun for hayride goers. In addition, community groups and local businesses are invited to create and participate in a scary scene for the event. To sign up as a volunteer, to have your organization participate, or for more information about Pennsauken’s Haunted Hayride, contact Juan Vazquez at jvazquez@pennsauken.gov or (856) 665-1000 x151.
