Yard Debris

All yard debris is collected every Wednesday by Waste Management throughout the township.

Grass clippings, leaves and small branches may be put out in cans or bags. Container must weigh less than 50 pounds. There is no limit on the number of bags or containers you may put out each week. Larger limbs must be cut to four feet or less in length and tied securely in bundles of less than 50 pounds.

Do not place yard waste in yellow recycling cans. Yellow recycling cans are only for cans, bottles, cardboard, paper and other approved comingled recyclables.

Grass clippings should not to be blown into the street.

In the fall residents are encouraged to put their leaves in bags for collection on Wednesdays.

Limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter and tree trunks will be picked up by Public Works. These items need to be cut into pieces 2 feet to 3 feet in length. Items must be placed at the curb. We are not permitted to go onto private property.

The number to call to be placed on the list for a pick up is 856 663-0178 or you can email your request to publicworks@twp.pennsauken.nj.us. Please be sure to include your address, what the item is and a contact phone number.
