The Pennsauken Fire Department has a staff of approximately 113 individuals, 18 full time personnel and 95 volunteers, serving the community from five fire stations and the Fire Administration Building. These facilities are located at the following locations:

Volunteer Firefighters

The department is always looking for men and women to join the ranks as volunteer firefighters. The department also has a firefighter explorer program which is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America.

Individuals who serve as volunteer firefighters in Pennsauken are eligible to receive the following benefits:

• Training provided
• Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP)
• Volunteer Incentive Program
• Free Pool membership for member and immediate family
• College Tuition Assistance at New Jersey Community Colleges
